New innovative website menu planner from McCormick Canada

McCormick Canada’s Club House launches holiday campaign television and digital advertising.

London, Ont.—Supported by two national television spots and digital advertising, McCormick Canada has launched an innovative Club House brand website menu planner on its website to help make holiday menu planning easy.

Visitors are able to build their own customized menu that includes beverages, appetizers, entrées, gravies, side dishes and desserts. Once the menu has been selected, visitors are able to print and share their menu with others as well as being able to return to the menu at a later time through an e-mail link provided to them.

Some of the delicious recipes to choose from include:

  • Appetizers: Vanilla Shrimp Crostini, Festive Cheese Spread;
  • Beverages: Spiced Cider, Cozy Hot Cocoa;
  • Entrées: Savoury Herb Rub Roasted Turkey, Golden Clove Glazed Ham;
  • Gravies: Perfect Turkey Gravy, Apply-Sage Turkey Gravy;
  • Sides: Asparagus with Spicy Nutmeg Butter, Sage and Cheddar Potato Gratin;
  • Holiday Baking Treats: Spiced Holiday Cookies, Cranberry-Apple Bake, Gingerbread Men Cookies, Easy Red Velvet Cake with Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting.

The digital campaign will be the main feature of the website throughout the holidays.


Besides the two television spots, other support for the campaign includes a chance to win a prize. Visitors are encouraged to enter their name into a draw to win a Kitchen-Aid electric mixer along with a variety of McCormick’s Club House baking products. As well, there is a variety of digital ads on Google, Facebook, Reader Digest’s Facebook page, Walmart’s website, Premium Food Channels’ website, Recipe Bridge and

“The main focus of the campaign is around holiday baking,” says McCormick Canada assistant product manager Genevieve Woo. “It’s a special time of year when families come together to bake for the holiday season, whether it’s making delicious holiday treats for family and friends or creating decoratively baked gingerbread ornaments for the tree,” she notes.
