“We use one supplier for 90 per cent of our meat plant equipment.”

Listen to Ukrainian-Canadian Oleksandr Zahrebelnyi, founder of Canada Meat Group in North Bay, Ont., talk about how Reiser Canada helped him fit his plant “from stem to stern” with processing and packaging technology.

“Our SuperVac machine creates the best packaging possible in two cycles per minute,” maintains Oleksandr.

“The Holac slicing machine cuts perfect steaks at 1,500/hour. Every steak is the same!

“We use a Vemag Robot 500 portioner/former with a flattening conveyor to form any size or shape of burger perfectly!”

The star machine of the plant is the Reiser Variovac Optimus thermoformer.

Product Development Manager Yury Zykov demonstrates the ease with which he controls machine speed while reducing film usage to an absolute minimum to meet sustainability objectives. The  Optimus produces both vacuum and MAP capabilities.

Oleksandr concludes, “The versatility of the Variovac allows us so many more options as we seek to build our co-packing business for a variety of food-service and branded companies.”

“Our new-planned 50,000-square-foot facility will offer our customers state-of-the-art performance and more production options than they can imagine,” declares Zahrebelnyi.
