A look at an industry whereby being ultra clean is not all it is cracked up to be.

When a company such as the Deb Group, a global entity renowned for skin care products and hygienic disinfectant products, asks if cleanliness has gone too far, you can be sure it’s worth looking into.

In the packaging industry, cleanliness is next to godliness, and is a must for companies—from ensuring food products are safely handled, packaging materials are stored and handled safely, and production line equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.

While not about the packaging industry, a blog posted by Patrick Boshell on the Deb website discusses how hand hygiene in hospitals has gone so far that it is no longer helpful, but harmful.
