Ready for take-off! On March 6, 2015, BlueWater Automation is hosting an open house at its Elmira, Ont.-base facility celebrating the release of its brand new F16-T Automatic Case Former.
The F16-T is a fully automatic, stainless-steel, open form frame, small footprint case former suitable for washdown environments. Its small footprint allows for seamless integration with both semi-automatic and automatic lines.
The F16-T is the first piece in a line of equipment BlueWater will be bringing to market, including its C-16 fully automatic case sealer.
The F16-T automatic case former will:
- automatically index in a case blank;
- confirm case Integrity;
- positively fold all four bottom flaps;
- seal with pressure sensitive tape;
- complete at rates of up to 16 cases per minute.
The new “clean” designs are not only suitable for wet environments but more importantly, were designed from the ground up to meet strict sanitary specifications, manufactured by a team of individuals specifically trained and familiar with food safety requirements including HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points), AMI, 3A and others.
