Video: See how B.C. gummy producer bottle-fills challenging, sticky gummies

“Watch as sticky gummies are separated, conveyed, weighed, and index-filled.”

Herbaland Naturals in Richmond, BC has grown in 13 years from kitchen operation to 150,000 square feet of manufacturing space and a production of 17 million bottles of vitamin gummies yearly.

Owners Musharaf Syed and Aisha Yang relate that gummies are an extremely popular vitamin delivery method… but a real challenge to package.

In the video, Paxiom Sales Manager Luis Pilioneta takes us through the whole process in one of the two weighing, filling lines culminating with the unique WeighPack SpinDexer, which uses a rotary indexing funnel to  accurately fill bottles that have been precisely dispensed through the CombiScale weigh scales.
