Signature takeout Caesar kits launch May 14 for National Caesar Day
Toronto ON: National Caesar Day happens each year on the Thursday before the May 2-4 long weekend, and what better way to celebrate Canada’s Cocktail than with Lone Star Texas Grill’s new Signature Caesar Cocktail Kits available May 14! Their signature Caesars has been made into a build your own Caesar kit for everyone (of legal drinking age) to enjoy at home. These will be paired with weekend-long National Caesar Day specials, featuring their award-winning fajitas and house-made chips & salsa from May 14-18.
With the COVID-19 pandemic shutting restaurants down to contactless pickup and delivery only, Lone Star’s team has been innovating on new ways to bring the restaurant experience to their guests. Based on new AGCO laws, they can now sell alcohol for both takeout and delivery. This sparked the idea to sell their most popular cocktails, Lone Star’s signature Margarita, which was launched last week, and now their iconic Caesar cocktails.
“We have seen massive success with our takeout cocktail kits. We are selling close to 1000 kits per week, and it is 3% of sales (which is a mind-blowing number for us). We also see a ton of user-generated content across social media related to the Marg kits, and we’re so excited for the launch of our signature Caesar kits in time for National Caesar Day. From what our alcohol suppliers are telling us, our little cocktail sets are very unique across the world, and they have been showcasing the package with their global teams!

Each kit comes with 1L of Lone Star’s classic Caesar mix, made with Mott’s Clamato, Worcestershire, Lone Star Hot Sauce, and crushed black pepper. The kit comes complete with their house-smoked spice rim, sliced jalapeños, lime wedges, celery sticks and a 200-ml bottle of Tito’s Handmade Vodka from Austin, Texas. Serves 6 legendary Caesars. Caesar kits with Tito’s vodka cost $28, and Virgin Caesars cost $12.
Lone Star is running a weekend-long “National Caesar Day Special” from May 14-18, where guests can get Fajitas for 2 with all the fajita fixings, chips and salsa, and their new Caesar Cocktail Kit (6 Caesars) for $70. And while supplies last, each Caesar Special comes with two free Mott’s Caesar Glasses! Caesar Specials are available for groups of 2, 4, 6 & 10.
