“The Variovac delivers perfectly formed cheese-wedge packages at high speeds – as promised”

Welcome to the tranquil setting of the Abbaye St-Benoit-Du-Lac monastery, which is supported financially by a state-of-the-art cheese-making and -packaging plant.

Communications Coordinator David Morel explains: The quality and purity of the globally awarded cheeses are reflected in the “Haven of Peace” nature of the monastery.

Production Director Alex Lachapelle adds, “We produce 300,000 kilograms of cheese annually. Food safety and traceability are very important. This is where Reiser comes in.”

Watch in this video as Alex takes us through the whole packaging process, starting with the user-friendly HMI. He demonstrates the ease with which operators can check an adjust parameters and functions, such as enabling the labelers, cross-cutting film packages and increasing speed.

Reiser Sales Rep Jean Collette contributes: “The Reiser Variovac Primus 50 is a rugged, high-speed and sanitary machine that features a rollaway forming die-top that makes for very quick and easy die changeover.”

“What I like most about the machine is the speed. With the rolling die-top, changeovers are a breeze.”
