In support of Nutrition Month (March), leading food packaging and processing company Tetra Pak are supporting Breakfast for Learning–Canada’s leading advocate for child nutrition in Canada.
Tetra Pak worked on a microsite along with Breakfast for Learning, smartfoodsolutions.ca, dedicated to educating teachers, parents and children about healthy eating and food safety practices in an engaging and informative way.
“Through our child nutrition programs, Breakfast for Learning is committed to providing Canadian children with healthy food needed to fuel their bodies and minds,” says Jennifer White, director of resource development and communications with Breakfast for Learning. “Tetra Pak’s support will help us continue to contribute to a healthy future for youth across the country.”
Tetra Pak’s Giovanna Lemos, the communications manager for U.S. and Canada adds: “Tetra Pak is committed to protecting what’s good.
“We live by this value, making sure our packages help keep food safe without the need for refrigeration or preservatives. We are very excited to support Breakfast for Learning to promote healthy and safe eating for March Nutrition month in Canada.”
Tetra Pak shelf-stable cartons don’t just protect food and beverages from spoilage, without the need for refrigeration or preservatives. They also preserve the taste and nutritional content of the products used daily at home or in kids’ lunch boxes.
