General Galen G. Weston George Weston Ltd. Loblaw Companies Ltd. W. Galen Weston Sr.W. Galen Weston Sr. is stepping down as executive chairman of George Weston Ltd., Canada’s largest food processing and distribution business.
With news that W. Galen Weston Sr., 75, is vacating his position as executive chairman of George Weston Ltd., Canada’s largest food processing and distribution business becoming chairman emeritus, his son Galen G. Weston, 43, will step up the ladder to become chairman, while continuing as executive chairman and president of national grocery chain Loblaw Companies Ltd.
