Agreement allows Bonté to launch a new line of salted meat products under its Chris Brothers brand, with greater Atlantic Canada exposure of its other products.

DIEPPE, N.B.—Bonté Foods has announced it has entered in a co-packing agreement with Atlantic Meats of Sydney, Nova Scotia to launch a new line of salted meat products and recipes into the Canadian market under the Chris Brothers brand name, with packaging to carry both logos.

All recipes for the new line are originals created by Atlantic Meats.

The Chris Brothers brand is well known in Atlantic Canada for its European-style deli meat products.

Because Atlantic Meats are only a provincially-inspected facility, the partnership with Bonté Foods of Dieppe, New Brunswick will allow Atlantic Meats to expand its own distribution across Atlantic Canada and the rest of the country, as well as possible export to Caribbean countries where there is a greater demand for salted meat products.
