Packaging films manufacturer Toray Plastics (America), Inc. of North Kingstown, R.I., has appointed Milan Moscaritolo as director of sales and marketing for the company’s Lumirror Division, which specializes in the production of polyester films.

Valois of America, Congers, N.Y.-based supplier of proprietary spray, aerosol and dispensing systems for the pharmaceutical, perfume and cosmetics markets, has appointed Alex Theodorakis as president.

NatureWorks LLC, Minnetonka, Minn.-based producer of biodegradable polymers derived from corn starch and other renewable resources, has appointed Marc Verbruggen as president and chief executive officer.

Checkweighing systems manufacturer Mettler-Toledo Hi-Speed of Ithaca, N.Y., has appointed Rick Bollinger as strategic accounts manager for the pharmaceutical industry, responsible for the sales of the company’s Hi-Speed and Safeline product lines to pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

World Wide Packaging, Inc., Florham Park, N.J.-based manufacturer of packaging tubes and components for the cosmetics and personal-care industries, has appointed Betti Ann Catino as director of product development.

Paperboard and containerboard manufacturer Rock-Tenn Company of Norcross, Ga., has announced the reorganization of its senior management team following the recent retirement of former vice-president of the company’s Paperboard Division David Dreibelbis. The revamped executive team includes: Mike Kiepura, executive vice-president with responsibility for the consumer packaging folding carton business; Dick Steed, executive vice-president with responsibilities for the company’s RTS joint venture with Sonoco and the Seven Hills joint venture with Lafarge North America, Inc.; and Jim Porter, executive vice-president responsible for containerboard and corrugated packaging.
