
Amcor appoints new CFO

On September 25, 2015, Amcor chief executive officer Ron Delia announced the appointment of Michael Casamento as its chief financial officer.
Amcor is a global leader in responsible global packaging solutions supplying a broad range of rigid and flexible packaging products to the food, beverage, healthcare, home and personal care and tobacco packaging industries.
The announcement makes it official, as Casamento has been acting as the Amcor chief financial officer since January this year when Ron Delia, the company’s previous chief financial officer was appointed chief executive officer.
Delia says: “We are delighted to appoint Michael as chief financial officer of Amcor. Michael’s experience at Amcor, where he has managed the group level finance function very well, and his experience as a large business group chief financial officer at SCA, working in the U.S. and China as well as Australia, is an asset to the company.
“In Michael’s 18 months with Amcor, he has impressed us all with his intellect, ability to drive results and his integrity,” he continues.
Casamento will relocate to Zurich, Switzerland to assume his new role.
