Design & Innovation Bottling polypropylene bottle RPC Promens Consumer Kutenholz Sylter Salatfrische salad dressing Zum Dorfkrug

Yes, it's a bottle for a German product only, but it's a very nice-looking bottle!

In conjunction with leading sauce manufacturer Zum Dorfkrug, RPC Promens Consumer Kutenholz has developed a classic 1000ml round bottle for Sylter Salatfrische, Germany’s most popular salad dressing.

As well as this classic, the new bottles will also be used for Honey & Mustard, Yogurt, French Dressing, Vinaigrette and American Salad Dressing varieties.

The stylish bottle is blow molded in PP (polypropylene) and echoes the look of the typical milk-bottle style pack currently available in the company’s 250ml and 500ml sizes.

However, despite its larger size, the user-friendly bottle is easy to handle, and is squeezable for accurate control and dispense of the dressings.

The new bottle also meets the safety requirements of the foodservice sector, enabling it to be used in canteens and restaurants as well as in the home.

Thanks to its light weight, high strength and resistance to breakage, Zum Dorfkrug feels that plastics containers are the ideal choice for salad counters and the catering trade.

The bottle was launched in May 2015 and is available on the salad bars in around 150 Edeka supermarkets.
