WeighPack Systems, Inc. recently introduced a new state-of-the-art servo-driven horizontal wrapping machine—the Sleek 60 Wrapper—that is designed with reliability, simplicity, cleanability, and serviceability in mind.

The economical Sleek 60 Wrapper uses three servo motors and servo drives that creates quick and easy changeover and adjustment. No chains, no gears, no lubrication needed.
Servo drives assures precise positioning, smooth acceleration – deceleration and very little cause or need for maintenance. The simple design makes the Sleek 60 flow wrapper very easy to set-up, operate, and maintain.
Equipped with dual lug position infeed conveyor and an adjustable forming shoulder changing from product to product are very simple without the headache and cost for change parts.
The Sleek 60 Wrapper will wrap 60 packages per minute with ease. The machine can be configured to handle package size range as small as one-inch in width x 3.75-in. high x three in. long to a package of 6.5 in. x 3.75 in. x 10 in. The variable speed control can adjust flow rate for manual and automatic feeding onto the conveyor.
Standard features include precise PID temperature control, pre-programmed and stored product set up, stainless steel frame construction, user friendly color touch screen HMI , adjustable forming box, auto open/close rotary finwheel assembly and rotary seal jaws with jam detecting logic. The infeed conveyor is available extended to 12 feet (3.5 meters) long, if required.
The Sleek 60 Wrapper can be equipped with gas flush capabilities for extended shelf life as well as printing and or labeling attachments for product identification or code dating.
Running registered printed roll stock film is simple and easy with eye mark sensing devices mounted on the film unwind roller assembly. Gusseting attachments are available to produce a tight wrap on high profile items.
The Sleek 60 Wrapper can wrap using many roll stock materials including and not limited to polypropylene film, microperf material, multilayer laminated, co-extruded and foil films. Most heat sealable films will run with ease.
The Sleek Wrapper can flow wrap just about any type product with and without a tray effectively, efficiently and with years of reliable service.
