The new Festo SMx-8M and SMx-10M Cylinder Switches provide users with superb reliability.

New from Festo, the SMx-8M and SMx-10M series proximity sensors are fully compatible with all Festo drive units and offers a new dimension of performance and reliability.

Featuring an innovative mounting design, it offers quick and easy installation while delivering unmatched sensing accuracy.

The sensors are vibration- and shock-resistant leading to extreme reliability and stability and feature sturdy cable anchoring that supports tensile forces up to 40N.

According to Festo, the SMx-8M and SMx-10M are extremely robust and have a long service life.

Available in a reed or solid-state switch, the cylinder switches are completely configurable to ensure a perfect fit for all applications.
