There’s a steady hum of machinery coming these days from VC999 as new vacuum-packaging machines are fabricated and assembled in the company’s Kansas City, Mo. North American home.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary in North America, VC999 is one of the world’s most successful designer and manufacturers of vacuum packaging machines.
Today, its operations at its headquarters continues to grow with a recent 40,000-square-foot expansion of its production facility, several new products introduced in the past year and a continuing emphasis on manufacturing in the U.S.
The addition has enabled faster turnaround times in the production of VC999’s products as well as those of its sister companies, XtraPlast, XtraVac and Perbetum. The additional space also gives VC999 and XtraPlast warehouse area for parts and supplies.
“VC999 is committed to our customers and our operations here in the U.S.,” says company president Silvio Weder. “Our first 25 years in North America have been very good, and we’re looking forward to building on our successes in the next 25 years.”
