By Tigerpak Industrial Supplies

Tigerpak Industrial Supplies, an authorized dealer for Linx in Mississauga, Ont., is pleased to announce the availability of the new Linx 8940 Spectrum continuous inkjet printer. The 8940 Spectrum is designed and engineered to deliver hard pigmented ink with unparalleled efficiency and reliability, while overcoming the challenges normally associated with pigmented-ink printing. Unique features, such as Linx PureFlow® filtration and Vortex® mixing, ensure that the distribution of ink to the printhead maintains the consistency necessary for continuously producing quality codes. Utilizing the Linx AutoFlush printhead, the 8940 Spectrum accommodates extended periods of up 28 days between shutdown and startup, without the need for time-consuming head cleaning. And the Spectrum provides users with a best-in-class service interval of up to 8,000 hours or 12 months.

With production speeds up to 10 m/s and a range of available high contrast inks, the Linx 8940 Spectrum is the perfect solution for coding and marking on extruded plastics and rubber, wire and cabling, and coloured glass. Other features common to the Linx 8900 series product line include mistake-free cartridge refills, an intuitive user interface, and the ability to connect to Linx PrinterNet® for remote monitoring and control.
