Partnership to share solutions at Collaboration in Packaging Production exhibition in 2017.

Collaboration in Packaging Production (CPP EXPO) which will be held April 19-21, 2017 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, has announced that Konica Minolta, MGI and Mahr Metering Systems are among several leading package printing/production companies that will be showcasing innovative solutions at the 2017 event, co-located with ISA‘s International Sign Expo.

According to show director Jane McDermott, the CPP Expo and Conference are creating widespread interest among companies looking to showcase their latest products and innovative solutions.

“For the past several years, it has become more and more apparent that digitally-driven solutions, including wide-web and inkjet, have exploded the traditional model of creating packaging. CPP Expo was created to provide an unparalleled experience for those looking for the very best in packaging production and design,” says McDermott.

Opening new markets for suppliers and buyers is the resonating theme for CPP EXPO 2017.

Echoing these sentiments is one of the top U.S. package printers/converters: “Emerald Packaging was the first flexible packaging converter in the United States to adopt digital printing,” says Emerald Packaging director of sales and marketing Todd Somers.

“Digital has opened the door to new markets and the opportunity to work more closely with brand managers. As with any new technology there is much to consider before diving in, and the forum created by CPP EXPO will certainly help the industry,” says Somers.

Summing up, McDermott notes: “Confirmed support by traditional and new partners further bolsters the concept that collaboration on packaging materials and production must begin at the conception of the branding strategy.  CPP Expo will facilitate that collaboration via insightful conference sessions and the very latest printing solutions and applications on the exhibit floor.”

Registration opens in the fall at www.signexpo.org. For details on the event, including presenting, exhibiting/sponsoring or attending, contact via e-mail at cpp@cppexpo.com or call 516-763-1322.
