Schönberg, June 2023
To raise awareness of the importance of food safety, Sesotec celebrated Food Safety Day on June 7, 2023 with events in five showrooms worldwide: Bangkok/Thailand, Pune/India, Shanghai/China, Bartlett/USA and Guelph/Canada.

Food Safety Day focused on the requirements of food processing and how risks can be avoided, detected and managed. Sesotec’s experts shared their extensive know-how on the topic of “food safety” and presented participants with, among other things, the wide range of products and services — from innovative metal detectors and proven X-ray systems to the latest software solutions and sophisticated service packages. In live demonstrations, for example, the latest innovations for metal detection using artificial-intelligence methods were conveyed in a practical manner. Sesotec solutions enable food manufacturers and processors to comply with standards and regulations, ensuring food conformity at all stages of production.

Food Safety Day once again underlined Sesotec’s leading position as an industry expert and provider of innovative food-safety solutions. Johannes von Stein, Sesotec Vice President Sales Food, is very satisfied: “The premiere of the Food Safety Day in our showrooms was a great success with many exciting discussions and guests. The goal of Food Safety Day, an initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), coincides with Sesotec’s ambition to raise awareness of the importance of the topic ‘food safety’. We will continue to adhere to World Food Safety Day in the years to come.”
