Abbey Sheetfeeding has provided its AbbeyTex textured microflute for Finlandia Vodka‘s paperboard packaging and picked up a Foil & Specialty Effects Association (F&SEA) award for its efforts.
The F&SEA run annual awards to demonstrate the best foil stamping, embossing and other special effects which have taken place during the year. It is a culmination of the most creative, brilliant and technically difficult work with the Finlandia Vodka boxes winning the Silver Award for Creative Use on Folding Carton.
The key feature of the award-winning box is the AbbeyTex surface created by Abbey Sheetfeeding. It was specially formulated to accept hot foil blocking and was taken full advantage of as the microflute was foil blocked in three colors, in a combination of graphics and text.
Also added was a foil embossed white logo, flat stamp silver and foil emboss in silver and red foil emboss for the reindeer imagery.
