The D&D acquisition brings a dynamic and complementing synergy to the Eclipse umbrella.

Eclipse Automation, the largest privately owned custom automation supplier in Canada, today announced the acquisition of D&D Automation, located in Stratford, Ontario. D&D, a global leader in controls and systems engineering, designs and integrates PLC control systems for robotics, industrial machinery, manufacturing lines, process environments and other automated facilities.

Eclipse Automation combines an expertise in design, engineering, manufacturing and integration, to deliver proven automation solutions. The D&D acquisition brings a dynamic and complementing synergy to the Eclipse umbrella. In addition to providing advanced production, lean manufacturing and progressive distribution that Eclipse is known for, customers can be supported with Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management (EPCM) controls engineering. Eclipse will also leverage its controls engineering capabilities to its customer service support to extend the productive life of existing equipment and systems.
