Avient unveils ColorWorks Phoenix to enhance plastic colour and design solutions

Avient announces Phoenix location to serve as a ColorWorks™ Design & Technology Center, expanding innovative colour solutions and guidance for plastic colour and design

PHOENIX – Jan. 22, 2024 – Avient Corporation, a premier provider of specialized and sustainable-material solutions and services, today announced the official designation of their Phoenix, Arizona location as a ColorWorks™ Design & Technology Center, expanding innovative colour solutions and guidance for plastic colour and design.

The company’s ColorWorks Centers are specifically intended to provide customers with colour inspiration and technical guidance through a collaborative approach. Avient customers can visit these facilities to work with designers and create innovative effects for plastic colour and design, using industry trends to streamline product development. With the addition of this Phoenix site, there are now five ColorWorks sites across the globe, including Merate (Italy), Sao Paulo (Brazil), Singapore, and West Chicago, Illinois (United States).

“With the addition of ColorWorks Phoenix, we can more readily collaborate with our customers, especially those in the western part of the United States,” said Mayendran Pillay, Marketing Director of Color & Additives for the U.S. and Canada.

The Phoenix Colorworks Center, like all other centers, will also offer onsite or virtual colour development, a dedicated design lab, rapid prototyping, Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) trend consultation, and more. The site operates under the direction of Merek Alam, ColorWorks Design Center Supervisor (Phoenix) and Lead Designer for the U.S. and Canada.
