Actega plasticizer-free sealant

BREMEN, GERMANY—Actega, a coatings and sealing company, is beginning production of its new PVC- and plasticizer-free sealant for lids on glass jars.
The sealant, called PROVALIN, comes in the following formats:
- 1241 for products that are high in oil and fat content
- 1231 for foods that contain little or no fat
- 1631 for metal/plastic composite lids
- 1288 for all areas
Actega is offering a related technical session on food safety at Interpack 2011, which runs from May 12 – 18 in Dusseldorf, Germany.
