PAC joins Canada Plastics Pact as a founding member

By PAC Packaging Consortium

General

Furthering our commitment to a circular economy and a vision of A World Without Packaging Waste, PAC Packaging Consortium (PAC) is pleased to announce our involvement with the Canada Plastics Pact (CPP).

The CPP is working towards clear, actionable targets by 2025, and PAC is thrilled that over fifteen years of preparedness and commitment to a circular economy aligns us to effectively collaborate on fulfillment of these targets alongside our members.

In 2011, PAC launched our PAC NEXT program, with a vision of A World Without Packaging Waste. Through the years, we have been steadfast in our commitment to a circular economy and on January 21, 2021 we furthered our efforts with the launch of the Packaging Innovation Pathway to Circularity (PIP360°). This web-based benchmarking tool allows users to assess a current package, and understand how to advance circularity through recycling, reduction, and reuse.

We are thrilled to support all twenty-four of our current members in their early partnership and support of the CPP:
