Automation Cartoning ADM Toronto B1-M Cartoner 4.0 Mpac Langen PACKEX 2019

Mpac Langen will be exhibiting a specialized rental program set to boost North American contract packaging productivity.

Mpac Langen will be attending PACKEX 2019 to present a cartoner rental program that offers North American contract packaging companies a means of increasing their productivity and agility. Part of ADM Toronto’s cross-industry event, PACKEX hosts experts from a wide range of fields including, packaging, automation, materials and handling, and contract manufacturing.

Michael Brown, Mpac Langen Managing Director for the Americas, explains why the B1-M machine is the focus for this event: “PACKEX is an exciting opportunity for Mpac to showcase our B1-M cartoner rental program to the North American market. We identified the need for short term packaging machinery solutions in Toronto and across the north American market more broadly as the region is home to many contract packaging companies.

These organizations can benefit hugely from this rental program as it will allow them to take on more short-term contracts, deal with sudden peaks in demand and help them launch new product ranges. B1-M rental offers these companies a versatile solution with minimal capital outlay, helping to drive business growth.”

The event runs from 4-6 June, 2019 and takes place at the Toronto Congress centre. Alongside showcasing their innovative rental program, Mpac will be giving live demonstrations of the B1-M cartoner, displaying concept simulations of the new Cartoner 4.0, a highly-flexible robotic packaging solution perfect for e-commerce warehousing, answering any questions about the significance of their recent £15 million acquisition of UK based company, Lambert Automation. B1-M rental program perfect for North Americas

The B1-M is a manual load continuous motion cartoner with high covering and multiple pitch options for high speeds and great flexibility. Mpac offers the B1-M as part of a specialized service opportunity that gives businesses in the North American region the chance to rent this industry-leading packaging machinery solution with minimal capital outlay.

Michael explains: “The rental program is perfect for contract packaging companies for a number of reasons. The reduced capital costs compared to buying new machines increases business flexibility and their ability to react to sudden drops or surges in required output capacity. It also allows companies to acquire specialized equipment and expertise for one-off packaging contracts.”

First exhibition since Lambert Automation acquisition

PACKEX will be the first event that Mpac have attended since their recent £15 million acquisition of Lambert Automation in May 2019. The acquisition of the UK based automation company is a strong indication of Mpac’s intent to be the market leader in full-line automated packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical, healthcare and food and beverage sectors.

Anyone who is attending the event and wants to learn more about the takeover and how this will benefit Mpac over the coming years should visit the Mpac stand at booth #1525. For more information about other Mpac Langen events in 2019, follow this link to our website.
