Strathcona Paper wins PPI award

Honored for its GreenChoice 100 product, the award acknowledges companies that demonstrate continuous leadership to support environmental stewardship.
The GreenChoice 100 is the first and only product of its kind in North America made from 100 per cent recycled fibers, and is: 100 per cent recyclable, 100 per cent carbon neutral and Strathcona purchases 100 per cent clean renewable energy to offset energy used in its manufacture.

The PPI Awards recognize the achievements of companies, mills and individuals in the pulp and paper sector. Launched in 2009, the annual awards ceremony provides an opportunity for pulp and papermakers worldwide to show off their achievements on a global platform.
