Thanks to the recent rise in popularity of bourbon whisky, distillers are caught short-handed.

Hopefully it’s a good problem to have.

With the sudden increase in bourbon aficionados, major American distillers are finding that their current fully-aged stock isn’t enough to supply the current demand. When it comes to bourbon and teh ageing of bourbon, one has to plan years ahead.

As of 2016, it appears as though the bourbon market—in particular the high-end bourbon market—guessed low for 2016 demands.
