TricorBraun Designs Prenatal Bottle

General Purity Life Health Product TricorBraun

The rounded profile of a mother-to-be is an unmistakable image, and TricorBraun – a leading North American packaging designer headquartered in St. Louis, MO – has worked with Purity Life Health Products – Canada’s largest health products supplier – to create that figure in the packaging for a new line of multi-vitamin supplements for pregnant and breastfeeding woman.

Called Mom To Be supplements, the bottle is shaped as a silhouette of a pregnant woman, with the likeness enhanced with the application of an image of an expectant mother printed on a full-sleeve shrink.

Although the concept for the bottle was provided by Purity Life Health Products, the design engineering and molds for the 250cc white HDPE (high-density polyethylene) bottle were created by TricorBraun.  A lug has been placed on the bottom of the bottle to orient it properly for the shrink label’s application.

The closure is a standard polypropylene, flip-top, full-orifice dispensing component that is applied to a 45/400 neck finish.

TricorBraun (www.tricorbraun.com) is one of the world’s leading suppliers of packaging, and it has 34 offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Asia.
