Jimmy Love takes over as new chief executive officer replacing Dennis Love.

Printpack has announced that Jimmy Love will take over as the company’s new chief executive officer at the end of June 2016 replacing long time leader Dennis Love.

Founded by J. Erskine Love, Jr. in 1956, and now celebrating its 60th year, Printpack is a privately-held manufacturer of flexible and specialty rigid packaging. Headquartered in Atlanta, GA and employing over 3,500 associates worldwide, the company operates 21 manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Mexico and China.

Dennis Love will remain as company chairman of the board and focus his attention on corporate governance and on major strategic issues that come to the board.

In a letter to the associates Dennis states, “For almost thirty years, half of my life and half of the life of this company, I have had the honor and privilege to serve as the chief executive (officer) of Printpack. I will always be grateful to the shareholders and directors of the company and to my family for their trust and confidence in my leadership of this company for so many years. It has been very gratifying to help lead this business and watch how it has changed and grown over that time, getting better every year, to become one of the premier companies in the packaging industry.”

I know you will join me in congratulating Jimmy on this well-deserved promotion.”
