Listen to Gravure Choquet President Patrick Choquet explain how he “puts the sparkle on the package that consumers cannot resist” with his Bobst NOVAFOIL 106 press.

“We are a trade finisher to the print industry, and we do what printers are not able to do with their printing inks.”

Choquet has been a Bobst customer since 1998.

His latest investment allows him to stamp foil at lower temperatures with better images… and at faster speeds that deliver increased productivity.

In the video, he demonstrates the entire operation of the NOVAFOIL 106 in his plant, from sheet loading to board feeding to the hot-stamping station where “the magic happens.”

He shows how the HMI (Human Machine Interface) ergonomically controls all facets of production. “It’s in a class of its own.”

Watch how the machine deposits precisely a small patch of security foil in line with the existing printing on sheets of playing cards at high speeds.

Additionally, Choquet shows how the “cross-foiling” feature allows foiling and embossing in a single pass, delivering a 25 per cent reduction in foil consumption to “assist with our sustainability efforts.

“To compete today, you need higher production levels. The Bobst NOVAFOIL 106 gives us what we need.”
