Watch this short two-minute-and-40-second video shot at the Sandy Shore Farms asparagus grow-op to preview the first ever installation in Canada of a TechSight Pro Check metal detector from Plan Automation Systems.
“The HMI is so fast,” declares David Shaka of Sandy Shore Farms, as he sends plastic corrugate boxes of wet and dry asparagus through the metal detector.
“This machine requires very small voltage and clearly shows passes and failures on the large, easy-to-read HMI screen. The HMI is super-user-friendly and very responsive,” he says as he demonstrates how quickly he can enter and change performance parameters.
Following a contamination detection, David explains, “then a whole list of paperwork starts: root-cause analysis, corrective actions… everything.”
