Walmart Canada president and chief executive officer Shelley Broader addressed a large audience of packaging users and suppliers at the Walmart Sustainable Packaging Conference VI discussing the sustainable packaging initiatives, plans and goals of the retail giant in 2013 and beyond.

Held at the Toronto Congress Centre, the annual event was organized by both Walmart and PAC—The Packaging Association.

A full report on what Walmart and other companies like Coca-Cola and Johnson & Johnson had to say will appear in Canadian Packaging magazine’s Annual Buyer’s Guide available at the end of the summer.

The next big national event from the PAC is the PAC Conference, Ottawa 2012 on September 28-30, discussing all aspects of the life cycle of packaging for Creating Next Life Solutions: A World Without Waste.
