PAC, Packaging Consortium is offering a chance to find out more about whether your packaging is being recycled or composted at the Region of Peel MRF on May 10, 2018.

Are you confused about whether your packaging is being recycled or composted?

Are you looking for recommendations on what you can do to improve your packaging’s ability to be recovered?

Do you wish to ask questions to other stakeholders in the packaging value chain in a safe and collaborative environment?

Now you can do so on May 10, 2018 at the Region of Peel MRF (Material Recovery Facility) in a one-day event sponsored by PAC, Packaging Consortium.

Have the unique opportunity to consult with PAC’s panel of subject matter experts and to help advance the circular economy for printer paper and packaging!

Panelists include:

  • Arin Selby, Specialist, Packaging Procurement, Sobeys;
  • Fiona Terry, Specialist, Waste Processing and Disposal, Region of Peel;
  • Eadaoin Quinn, Communications & Outreach Manager, Canada Fibers Ltd.

This event also includes a tour of the Region of Peel’s single stream MRF where recyclable materials are sorted, as well as their organics composting plant for yard waste and green bin organics processing. Be sure to bring your packaging samples.
