Thiele to showcase SWF TF 600V Tray Former at IPPE 2017.

MINNEAPOLIS. MN—Thiele Technologies, part of Barry-Wehmiller, will showcase the SWF TF 600V Tray Former at the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE), held in Atlanta from January 31 – February 2, 2017.

The Thiele SWF Tray Former has long been recognized as the workhorse of the poultry- and proteins-packaging industry. The SWF TF 600V Tray Former (see picture) offers customers unsurpassed efficiency, with speeds up to 60 trays per minute. The compact footprint is ideal for box rooms, and the machine’s portability gives customers the flexibility to change settings based on their needs.

“The SWF line of bliss and tray formers dates back to the 1940s, and it continues to be popular today because of its long lifecycle and new features,” says Thiele president and chief executive officer Larry Smith. “We are proud to steward our customers’ trust not only by providing versatile, durable solutions like this legacy tray former, but also through our commitment to servicing machines of any age.”

At IPPE, Thiele also will highlight the all-new TF-1250 Packaging Series Streamfeeder, which combines unmatched performance and reliability with innovation and value. Building on more than 25 years of experience, the TF-1250 is ideal for all non-nested product feeding requirements—including batch-counting, on-demand and continuous-feed—into banders, shrink-wrappers, flow-wrappers, cartoners, labelers and several other finishing machines.

In addition to these products, Thiele offers bagging and palletizing solutions for animal feed. The popular UltraStar is a high-speed, fully automated bagging system featuring integrated sealing and easy recipe changeovers. Palletizing options include traditional, robotic and SYMACH palletizers, which blend traditional and robotic benefits. All of Thiele’s equipment is customizable with a wide variety of options to meet customer needs, including top-load (pick and place) case-packers, poly bag inserters, and robotic packing and palletizing. These packaging solutions can be installed as single machines or complete systems.

Thiele is one of a number of Barry-Wehmiller businesses represented in BW Packaging Solutions. Through their diverse capabilities, these companies can collectively provide everything from a single piece of equipment to fully integrated, tailor-made packaging line solutions for a wide range of industries, including: food and beverage, personal care, container manufacturing, pharmaceutical and medical devices, household products, paper products and textiles, industrial and automotive, and converting, printing and publishing.
