Vitamalt goes Pristine with two new malt sodas

TORONTO—Have you ever had a malt soda? Sure… we might have had a malt liquor alcoholic beverage, a malted milkshake and maybe even some Malteser chocolates over the years—and they are all pretty good products with an excellent taste—but what the heck is a malt soda?
Vitamalt is a brand of non-alcoholic malt beverages manufactured by Danish brewers Royal Unibrew, that is popular in the Caribbean and Africa. Featuring high nutritional value, vitamin, mineral, protein and antioxidant content, consumers are reported to use it like a sports or energy drink.
Newly available in Canada, the Vitamalt Pristine brand is made with 60 per cent malt to provide the same vitamin and antioxidant benefits. After brewing the malt with barley grains, adding a hint of fruit flavor, carbonation is added to create the unique malt soda beverage, now available in two flavors: Strawberry (see image above) and Pineapple . The Vitamalt Classic and Ginger brands complement the rest of the line.
