Try Collaboration Nation’s Newest Release Now at Beertown Etobicoke

Charcoal Group’s newest Beertown location has just opened its doors in Etobicoke, and the must-try for beer fans of local craft would have to be the latest release in the Beertown Collaboration Nation Series: Bone Pine India Pale Ale.
On a quarterly basis, Beertown Public House hits the road to team up with their favourite craft brewers in Ontario and beyond, to collaborate on a one-off brew that is sold exclusively at Beertown and select “better beer bars” across the province.
This particular release is a special one because it is a product of something that truly drives Beertown: bringing people together. Bone Pine India Pale Ale is inspired by Terry and Emma, two Beertown regulars and their love for two resident Beertown brews; Lone Pine IPA by Sawdust City and Bone Tree New England IPA by Third Moon Brewing Co.
In February of 2017, Terry and Emma even celebrated their 600th check-in glass of Lone Pine IPA at Beertown in Waterloo. It was a photo posted to Terry’s Instagram feed in the summer of 2022 that caught the eye of Beertown’s Beverage Director and spurred the conversation on about bringing the two beers together into one glass at Beertown.
The Beertown team, Terry and Emma along with representatives from both breweries made the pilgrimage to Sawdust Brewing to have a hands-on experience with brewing Bone Pine together, and Beertown’s very own Marketing department contributed the artwork and label design. What started as a simple Instagram post by two loyal regulars, turned into a kinship that brought Ontario brewers, beer lovers and creatives together to flex their creativity in a special collaboration kickstarted by Beertown Public House.
Jody Palubiski, partner of Charcoal Group, believes that the hospitality experience should have more collaborative opportunities that start with the Guests.
“Local brews are so much more than the juice inside the can, there’s a story behind it, an experience, and when you combine the experience of local beer geeks and professional brewers the result can be something truly amazing and a great expression of creativity. This is how the idea of Collaboration Nation was born.”
BONE PINE IPA is the first of this two-part Collaboration Nation partnership. LONE TREE is coming Feb-March 2023, and will be brewed at Third Moon Brewing to complete this collab series trifecta.
