Schneider Electric Unveils New HMI

General human-machine interface Magelis

Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management providing solutions, products, services, and support electrical distribution and automation and control, has revealed its new HM (human-machine interface)I–the new compact, modular Magelis STO HMI–featuring a 3.40-inch’, monochrome touchscreen and tool less spring clip mounting.

Easy to install, configure, use, and maintain, the HMIs are ideally suited for industrial and commercial machine control applications.

Two monochrome versions are available in three colors: green; orange and red; and white, pink and red – for enhanced readability. 

Features:

  • Intuitive configuration: Configuration using the Vijeo Designer software allows access to advanced functions including recipes and a graphic object library;
  • High-performance communication: Multi-protocol RS485/232 standard RJ45 ports, as well as USB ports, facilitate integration with existing control systems;
  • Easy to maintain: The LED-backlit Magelis STO does not require batteries. It features a removable power connector, a USB mini B port for downloading, and a standard A port for a USB memory stick;
  • The HMI is Class 1 Div 2 and CSA-certified.
