New high-speed stretchwrapper from Premier Tech

General LW-300 LW-series Premier Tech Rotary Arm Stretch Wrapper stretchwrapperLW Series offers maximum flexibility with maximum efficiency.
New from Premier Tech comes the LW-300 Rotary Arm Stretch Wrapper, a fully automatic system designed to apply a mechanically pre-stretched film with tension to a pallet load.
Featuring an overhead rotary arm that eliminates the need to rotate the load and allows for high-speed wrapping, reaching up to 95 loads per hour, it can, depending on the model chosen, replace up to five turntable stretch wrappers.
The LW-300 is a rugged construction designed for low maintenance requirements and long-term reliability, as most of its main movements are electric which means less maintenance.
The user-friendly LW-300’s HMI (human-machine interface) was developed to make quick and easy adjustments of the film feeding. With the innovative film carriage it is possible to accelerate and decelerate the feeding of the film in order to apply more plastic on the load’s corners and to keep a constant film tension for increased stability.
An optional top sheet dispenser is also available. An option is also available to unitize the pallet with the load by applying plastic film on it. This feature contributes to enhance even more the stability of the pallet load.
A new film clamp geometry provides a very strong grip on the film to maintain the film properly until it is ready to be released, which helps avoid unwanted stops. As well, the LW-300’s braking system allows the rotary arm to be immobilized at any time during the wrapping process and restarted from the exact same position instead of starting all over again.
