CINCINNATI—Intelligrated, a leading North American-based automated material handling solutions provider, announces the release of its new motor driven roller (MDR) transfer conveyor, which facilitates a 90-degree change in direction of cases, polybags and totes to satisfy the product handling demands of e-commerce and omni-channel fulfillment operations.
The MDR transfer features drive rollers with integral 24 volt DC motors for individually powered zones and multiple transfer belts with adjustable band spacing to maximize product control and operational flexibility needs. The innovative design maintains a constant product height increasing power efficiency, item control and throughput rates.
Ideal for close operator interaction, the bi-directional MDR transfer offers quiet operation and run-on-demand features that use up to 50 percent less energy than traditional conveyor. Improved controls and efficient designs enable quick startup, simple belt replacement and easy maintenance for maximum uptime.
