Automation Controls/Drives Festo Canada food approved tubing NPQH fitting

Festo's new NPQH food-safe fitting made for tough environments.

MISSISSAUGA, ON—Festo’s new NPQH fitting has been designed to withstand a range of extreme conditions, including those typically used during food production.

The NPQH series is food industry-compliant, heat resistant to 150°C, highly resistant to chemicals including common cleaning agents and lubricants, and is suitable for high pressure applications. Its electroless nickel plating means the surfaces are abrasion resistant and safe for use in the food industry.

For food applications, the NPQH fitting is a highly suitable choice (FDA compliant) when combined with Festo’s selection of food approved tubing.

The fitting’s resistance to microbes and hydrolysis also makes it highly suitable (and FDA compliant) for food and wet areas when combined with PUN-H tubing.

The NPQH also works well in other sectors. Its excellent pressure resistance makes it suitable for pneumatic applications with a temperature range up to 150°C and a pressure range up to 20 bar when used with heavy duty tubing PAN-R.

It’s flame-proof, too, which makes the NPQH with Festo’s PUN-VO-C plastic tubing a highly effective and durable choice for welding applications in the automotive industry.

With many straight, L-, T- and Y-shape variants, easy handling, low insertion and release forces, and outstanding quality and durability, the NPQH is an extremely flexible choice where compressed air or water are the operating medium.
