Markem-Imaje to exhibit new coding products that will offer higher levels of regulatory compliance, recall management, brand enhancement and coding integrity.

Global marking and printing specialist, Markem-Imaje will showcase new innovative coding products with the 9410, 4500 and Flex SE printers and the 5055/5855 inks at Pack Expo International 2016 in Chicago November 6-9, 2016 at Booth #S-2514.

These new additions further broaden Markem-Imaje’s coding expertise which, combined with CoLOS software, project engineering and local customer support, delivers higher level customer outcomes like regulatory compliance, recall management, brand enhancement and coding integrity.

“Customer expectations, compliance trends and packaging innovation are evolving at a much faster pace than ever before. Whether it be a simple code on a package or a complex need like brand enhancement or reducing rework, our extensive range of marking and coding technologies, in-house CoLOS software and experienced engineering teams are uniquely positioned to enable and energize our customers’ future growth,” says Markem-Imaje Americas marketing director Ashish Kapoor.

With four new product launches, the company will be demonstrating the following proof of concepts:

  • The 9410, a reliable mid-range continuous inkjet printer that has increased printing capabilities to promote brands and an enhanced user experience to ensure products are coded right and scrap is kept to a minimum;
  • The 4500, a simple and cost effective valvejet case coder that facilitates internal logistics operations with codes that can be read at a distance. A highly responsive color screen makes daily operations immediate and simple;
  • The Flex SE, a new addition to the 2200 Series applicators giving manufacturers the ability to apply labels at very high speeds to the front and side of a pack without any production line modifications required to turn packs;
  • The 5055 and 5855, the industry’s darkest hot melt inks to improve quality and readability for case coding. These high optical density inks represent a lower cost alternative to print and apply labeling for GS1-128 compliant barcodes and ongoing retailer compliance mandates;

Additionally, as an industry leader in after sales support, Markem-Imaje will highlight their free 24-hour customer help-desk and the outstanding 85 percent-plus first time fix rate that helps customers get back to full operations with minimal disruption. Technical support specialists will be taking live customer calls on the show floor.

Last but not least, visitors will see the rest of Markem-Imaje’s extensive lineup of printers in action, including how they can be easily integrated with leading OEM (original equipment manufacturer) equipment.
