Ishida, the dominant bagmaker in the high-speed operation range with their industry leading Atlas and Astro series and a leader in snack packaging, continues to break ground with their Inspira Snack Bagmaker vertical form/fill/seal (VFFS) series and ACP-700 Case Packer.
Inspira is a fast, stable, and precise snack bagmaker, perfect for any type of laminated film from thick to thin. A large, color human-machine interface that automatically adjusts timing values and mechanical settings and that holds up to 200 presets gives operators simple functionality for changeovers and general operation. Inspira is the result of extensive research and development, the next evolution of VFFS bagmakers and further improves accuracy, sealing integrity, ease of use, and productivity.
Inspira’s ease of access, predictive maintenance, and ability to work with a wide variety of film makes it easy to operate, and it offers the highest levels of productivity performance, system efficiency, and pack quality, along with reduced environmental impact and improved operator working conditions, such as an increased level of automation which reduces the risk of human error.
The Case Packer is a compact case packer that can be set-up in an existing or a small space, making it attractive for customers looking to improve their boxing process. This fully automatic case packing system ensures correct bag count in the case and accurate case-packing of mass-produced products, with a capacity for boxing up to 150 packages/10 cases-per-minute.
With the Case Packer’s controls system’s feed forward and feedback features, the flow of bags is more measured and controlled. This reduces bottlenecks by continuously adjusting settings as bags are running through the system. The Case Packer provides unmatched packing performance, such as toolless 3-minute fully-automatic pushbutton adjustment changeovers, and includes more standard features (e.g., case erector, closing mechanism, large 15.3” color display, predictive maintenance tools) to make it a highly efficient system that is easy to operate. Also, it has one of the market’s smallest footprints available. Another key design improvement is the removal of the troublesome vacuum system typically required for bag handling.
