BestCode launches the Model 81 system as “The Most Affordable Continuous Ink Jet Printing System”. The Model 81 is targeted at the basic, entry level marking and coding applications printing one or two lines of text, barcodes or graphics.
Model 81 systems print real-time “Best By”, “Lot Code”, “Sell By”, “Expiration Codes” and other identifying marks and codes to industrial and consumer goods to ensure product traceability. Print non-contact, immediate dry, permanent, high speed, reliable marks and codes on a wide range of substrates, including plastic, glass, paper and more.
Systems are simplified to allow anyone to operate, minimizing operator touches and extending time between human interaction.
Model 81 systems feature BestCode’s CleanStart technology that automatically cleans the system eliminating daily and weekly manual cleanings.
Standard features include a 10.4-inch color touchscreen that is always on, providing a vivid display with large intuitive buttons and status indicators making the system easy to use. Employing OneTouch single-step operator functions reduce operator steps eliminating mistakes.
Ink is added on-the-fly without print interruption in less than a minute with no waste. The large volume ink tanks extend time between fluid additions to weeks or months.

- Print speeds up to 600 feet/minute (190 meters/minute).
The Model 81 system is enclosed in a “built-to-Last”, industrial, all-metal, stainless steel enclosure. The system is a compact, lightweight space saving design.
