2012 PACK Expo profile: Reiser

At the PACK Expo International 2012 tradeshow at the McCormick Place in Chicago on Oct. 28-31, Reiser will feature live demonstrations of its complete line of processing and packaging equipment and solutions.
Of special interest to food processors will be Reiser’s wide variety of packaging solutions, including their new line of Gruppo Fabbri automatic stretch film wrapping machines, as well as Ross tray sealers, Repak horizontal form/fill/sealers, and Supervac vacuum chamber packaging machines.
At the Reiser booth, there will be demonstrations of the Fabbri Model 55 Plus (see photo above) packing fresh food in preformed trays with stretch film. It can handle a wide range of tray sizes with no changeovers, at up to 55 packs per minute.
Reiser will also demonstrate its Repak horizontal form/fill/seal packaging machine in combination with their Vemag hamburger patty forming system.
The Vemag system forms exact-weight gourmet hamburger patties which are then conveyed from the Vemag, placed onto carrier paper, automatically indexed and loaded into the Repak where they are packaged. This solution is ideal for high-volume applications.
Reiser will also showcase its Ross S-Series Tray Sealer, which produces modified atmosphere packages (MAP) from preformed trays of almost any size or shape, packing fresh, refrigerated, retort or frozen food products at a full range of output rates.
