A new test created by MIT could provide a cheaper and faster method for food processors to test product than current food tests.

Using a smartphone and two-faced Janus emulsions to test for harmful bacteria in food products, MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) research team could provide on-site detection that is fast, inexpensive and, best of all, user-friendly.
