NSF and METTLER TOLEDO to present “Retail X-Ray Audit Requirements Are Changing: Ensure Your Technology Meets Compliance Expectations”

By Mettler Toledo

General

With the implementation of mandatory X-Ray testing of finished food products for retail suppliers, significant attention is being placed on the technology and ensuring that it is compliant with the new standards. This live webinar series, beginning on May 10, will discuss the changing retail X-Ray audit requirements and will help ensure you can continue to meet compliance expectations – straight from the experts.

The webinar series has three sessions:

Developing a Robust X-Ray Inspection Program
May 10, 2023 – 11 a.m. EDT

This webinar will be presented by Rob Rogers, Senior Advisor of Food Safety & Regulation, Product Inspection Division, at Mettler-Toledo. Rogers explains the importance of X-ray technology, “Foreign material hazards continue to find their way into the products we consume and remain one of the top reasons for product recalls. Prevention of hazards that lead to recalls is a top priority in most food-safety programs for both regulatory and direct customer programs. Regulators may be less prescriptive in their requirements, but we often see specific requirements built into retailer or direct customer standards.”
