Designing production processes to be efficient and resource-saving

Wolfertschwenden, Feb. 2, 2023 — At interpack 2023, MULTIVAC will be presenting itself as a supplier of integrated solutions for packaging and processing. In Düsseldorf, the MULTIVAC Group will be showing its comprehensive range of equipment and services for food, medical and pharmaceutical products over a total of four exhibition areas. The focus will be on innovative and sustainable processing and packaging solutions, as well as digital services that contribute to designing efficient and resource-saving production processes.

The main stand in Hall 5 (Stand A23) will focus primarily on the food-processing industry. Here MULTIVAC will be showing several fully automated lines to demonstrate its far-reaching expertise in line automation, as well as exhibiting a wide range of different packaging technologies. Concepts for producing sustainable packaging solutions will also be featured, as well as aspects of digitization in processes and business models. In addition to this, MULTIVAC will be giving an insight into its wide range of semi-automatic and fully automatic packaging solutions for small and medium-sized processors — from chamber machines through to tray sealers and right up to compact thermoforming packaging machines. And last but not least, visitors to the stand will be able to get advice about all aspects of packaging and processing, as well as information on after-sales services.

MULTIVAC will also be showing various processing solutions in live action on an open-air site (in front of Hall 4). These will include a new slicer, a portioning machine including product loading into trays, and a flowpacker line for minced meat.

In line with the motto “FRITSCH — Your first choice for tasteable quality,” the focus is on the end product and the freshly baked delicacies. Visitors to interpack will be able to experience at close quarters through various live bakery shows, how they can manufacture these products and delicacies on the machines or lines from FRITSCH Bakery Technologies. Here the focus will be primarily on creative product innovations, as well as the use of alternative and healthy raw materials.

In addition to this, MULTIVAC will also be presenting in Hall 16 (Stand C57) a range of solutions for packing medical and pharmaceutical products. These will include a fully integrated line for the automated production and printing of combi packs in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors.
