General MD Packaging Inc.Michael Dempster sells company to Jaime Alboim as part of succession plan.
After 29 successful years since he founded MD Packaging Inc. in 1988 to provide packaging and inspection solutions to the CPG (consumer packaged goods) markets in Canada, Michael Dempster has sold the company as part of his succession plan.
Effective February 24, 2017, Jaime Alboim has assumed the role of chief executive officer alongside Brett Payne as chief operating officer.
Both Alboim and Payne have had a long history both with MD Packaging and with the Dempster family for almost two decades, and have stated that the company will still maintain the same family-owned feel customers and employees have grown with, with business as usual, meaning customers can expect the same excellent service they have always experienced.
Dempster will continue to work indefinitely with the new ownership team as part of MD Packaging’s sales force.
