General Donald Trump McDonald's angry tweet about Donald Trump McDonalds Twitter Twitter attack

Twitter message attack calls Trump “a disgusting excuse of a President”.

On March 16, 2017 a morning tweet on McDonald’s official corporate Twitter account attacks U.S. president Donald J. Trump, calling him a “disgusting excuse of a President”. See image above.

While obviously not a true reflection of the corporate views of McDonald’s, the fast-food giant appears to have either had its Twitter account hacked or was used by a disgruntled employee.

The full tweet reads:
“@realDonaldTrump You are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands.”

The tweet was, according to multiple U.S. media sources, including the Chicago Tribune, deleted. McDonald’s has said, via Twitter, that it is in the process of investigating the entire incident.

UPDATE: McDonald’s has apologized, and said that its corporate Twitter account had been hacked by an external source.

For those looking for a conspiracy theory, enjoy the fact that former U.S. president Barack Obama’s press secretary Robert Gibbs is currently McDonald’s executive vice-president and global chief communications officer.

As for the official relationship between The Donald and McDonald’s, Trump once appeared in a television commercial for McDonald’s alongside Grimace, a mascot of the fast food firm back in 2002 for a product called the Big N’ Tasty burger.
