Ellis Group operates three facilities in Ontario, Canada
Differentiated specialty packaging company Max Solutions has acquired Canadian folding-carton company Ellis Group for an undisclosed sum.
Ellis Group is a family-owned and -operated company that designs, manufactures and distributes custom paperboard carton solutions.
The company operates three facilities in Ontario, Canada, which serve major brands in North America.
Max Solutions CEO Marc Shore said: “We are very excited about this acquisition.

Launched last November, Max Solutions provides specialty packaging solutions for healthcare and consumer segments.
The acquisition of Ellis Group comes after the company opened its first facility in Bristol, PA in July this year.
The 100,000-square-foot facility features advanced technology and aims to address the growing market demands of Max Solutions’ key customers.
Max Solutions plans to open its second factory in Concord, NC next month, which will increase its manufacturing space to 250,000 square feet.
At the time of opening its first facility, Marc Shore said: “These new factories, along with our dynamic and exceptional team, position us to provide superior quality and exceptional service to our customers while remaining focused on driving long-term strategic growth.”
